Shipping and Delivery
At Timeless Truck Beds, we build complete truck bed assemblies that are much larger and heavier than standard parcel shipments. Because of their size, special handling and freight arrangements are required.
We offer several pickup and delivery options so you can choose the method that works best for your location and available unloading equipment.
Please review the information below before placing your order.
Order Processing
All truck beds are built and prepared in the order they are received.
- Orders begin processing after full payment is received.
- Estimated completion times may vary depending on current production workload.
- Once your truck bed is completed, we will contact you to confirm pickup or shipping details.
- Shipping transit times are separate from production lead times.
We will communicate with you when your order is ready to leave our facility.

Nationwide Shipping
For customers outside our local delivery area, we offer two primary shipping methods:
3. uShip / Direct Delivery
uShip provides access to independent professional transporters, often referred to as hotshot carriers, who can transport your truck bed directly from our facility to your delivery address.
This option can be a convenient alternative to traditional LTL freight because the truck bed is transported directly by the assigned carrier rather than moving through a traditional freight-terminal network.
No Crating Fee for uShip
The $600 crating fee does not apply to uShip/direct-delivery shipments.
Truck beds shipped through uShip are transported without the LTL shipping crate unless otherwise specifically arranged.
The shipping price shown for uShip service is based on the transportation cost to your delivery location.
uShip Delivery
Delivery dates and times are coordinated based on carrier availability.
Transit and delivery times are estimates and may vary due to weather, traffic, equipment issues, scheduling, carrier availability, or other circumstances outside the control of Timeless Truck Beds.
Unloading
Unless specifically arranged otherwise, the customer is responsible for having the people or equipment necessary to safely unload the truck bed.
Please make sure your delivery location is reasonably accessible to the vehicle and trailer being used by the transporter.
4. LTL Freight Shipping
We also offer nationwide LTL freight shipping through commercial freight carriers.
LTL freight rates are calculated based on your delivery address, shipment size, weight, and the delivery services selected during checkout.
$600 LTL Crating Fee
All truck beds shipped by LTL freight require a protective shipping crate.
A $600 crating fee is charged for each truck bed shipped by LTL freight and is already included as part of the LTL shipping quote displayed on our website.
For example, an LTL order containing two truck beds will include two $600 crating charges.
This fee covers the materials and labor required to construct the shipping crate and prepare the truck bed for LTL freight transportation.
The $600 crating fee applies only to LTL freight shipments and does not apply to uShip/direct delivery.
LTL Liftgate & Non-Liftgate Delivery
When selecting LTL freight, customers may choose between Liftgate Delivery and Non-Liftgate Delivery.
Liftgate Delivery
Liftgate service is recommended for residential locations or businesses that do not have a loading dock or forklift.
With liftgate service, the freight carrier uses a hydraulic liftgate on the delivery truck to lower the shipment from the trailer to ground level.
Please note: Liftgate service does not include moving the shipment into your garage, shop, driveway, building, or other desired location. Delivery is generally made to an accessible location where the carrier can safely unload the shipment.
The customer is responsible for moving and unpacking the crate after it has been unloaded.
Non-Liftgate Delivery
Non-liftgate service is intended for commercial locations or customers who have the equipment necessary to unload the shipment directly from the freight trailer.
You should select non-liftgate service only if you have access to:
- A loading dock, or
- A forklift or other suitable equipment capable of safely unloading the shipment
If the carrier arrives and adequate unloading equipment is not available, additional carrier fees, redelivery charges, or other accessorial charges may apply.
Any additional carrier charges resulting from incorrect delivery information, unavailable unloading equipment, missed delivery appointments, address changes, or services requested after shipment are the responsibility of the customer.
LTL Freight Delivery Process
Once your truck bed is completed:
- We will verify your shipping and delivery information.
- Your truck bed will be placed into its protective shipping crate.
- The shipment will be prepared for the selected freight carrier.
- The freight carrier will take possession of the shipment.
- The carrier may contact you directly to schedule or coordinate delivery.
Once a shipment has been transferred to the freight carrier, delivery schedules are controlled by the carrier and may be affected by weather, terminal schedules, traffic, equipment availability, and other factors outside the control of Timeless Truck Beds.
IMPORTANT: Inspect Your LTL Shipment Before Signing
All LTL freight shipments should be inspected at the time of delivery.
Freight damage is uncommon, but documenting the condition of the shipment at delivery is extremely important.
Before signing the carrier's delivery receipt:
- Inspect the entire crate for visible damage.
- Look for broken boards, crushed areas, punctures, forklift damage, shifting, or other signs of mishandling.
- Take photographs of the crate before opening it if damage is visible or suspected.
- Inspect the truck bed itself whenever reasonably possible.
- Clearly write any visible or suspected damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing it.
Do not sign the delivery receipt as being received in good condition if the crate or truck bed shows signs of damage.
If damage is discovered, contact Timeless Truck Beds as soon as possible and provide photographs of the crate, truck bed, and delivery receipt.
Failure to document shipping damage at the time of delivery may limit or prevent a claim from being filed with the freight carrier.
Delivery Access & Additional Carrier Charges
The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and selecting the appropriate delivery service.
For LTL shipments, please consider:
- Whether the location is residential or commercial
- Whether a loading dock or forklift is available
- Whether liftgate service is needed
- Whether a tractor-trailer can safely access the delivery location
Freight carriers may charge additional fees for services including redelivery, address corrections, limited-access locations, storage, missed appointments, or additional equipment required at delivery.
Additional charges resulting from conditions at the delivery location or services requested after the original shipment has been booked may be the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping Quotes
Shipping rates displayed on our website are based on the delivery information provided during checkout and the shipping method selected.

- Delivery location

- Liftgate requirements
- Shipment size and weight
- Carrier availability
- Current freight rates
If there is an issue with the shipping information provided or the selected service cannot reasonably accommodate the delivery location, Timeless Truck Beds will contact the customer before shipment.
